This policy explains what information whatsmylovestyle.com ("the site") collects, how it's used, and your choices. The site is run by Chau Nguyen ("I," "me"). Questions: rubyrosechau@gmail.com.
Your answers are scored in your browser. To see your results, you're asked for your email address and, optionally, your first name, as described below. Your results are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device, so they're available if you buy the personalized report. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser data.
Before the quiz, you're asked about your relationship status, how long you've been together (if partnered), your age range, and optionally your gender. These tailor your results. Your relationship status is saved with your email so your emails fit your situation; the others are only stored if you choose to take part in research, as described below.
When you enter your email to see your results, I collect your first name, email address, and your quiz results (your top two styles, your six scores, and your relationship status). I use these to:
Emails are sent through MailerLite, which stores this information on my behalf. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Payments are processed by Stripe. I don't see or store your full card details. Stripe provides me with your name, email, and purchase details so I can confirm your order and help if something goes wrong.
If research participation is offered and you agree, your quiz ratings and background answers are stored anonymously for a doctoral research study. Research data is stored separately from your name and email and is never linked to them. Participation is voluntary and described in full on the consent form shown before the quiz.
The site uses a small number of providers to operate: Netlify to host the site, Google Fonts to display typefaces, MailerLite for email, and Stripe for payments. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing rubyrosechau@gmail.com. If you live in California or another place with privacy laws that give you additional rights, I'll honor those requests as the law requires.
The site is intended for adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact me and I'll delete their information.
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
